Cirque de Cercles

Cirque de Cercles

Well, the Handi Quilter has been broken down, packed and shipped to its’ new home in Arizona. ┬áThe Innova has arrived, been unpacked and is assembled…a mere 16 hours of reading directions and building a ginormous erector set. I haven’t sewn one stitch yet, but I’m really, really close.

In the meantime, there was this finish.

It’s currently hanging in the Taos Town Hall for an exhibition our guild is having. It is totally inspired by my friend Donna, who taught me the ‘piec-lique’ technique, and has made a quilt or two or three with these cool circles that I always admire. It started with no plan at all, and I just kept adding circles until it felt done.

This is where I called it a finish, and started working on the quilting.

Wasn’t that fun!? It’ll be in my Etsy shop after the show.

Thanks for checking.

I love the quilt, and the quilting is amazing! You rock. Can not wait to see what you and that new machine will do.
