Earlier this year, I made 2 Quilts of Valor for my cousin and his girlfriend. As I attempted to help them understand the program, I read almost the entire QOV website. I was moved to sign up as a longarmer for the program, meaning the batting, the shipping and the longarm quilting service is donated. Such an incredibly small contribution for people who have served and sacrificed so much. I completed my first quilt last week. I have a friend who has done thousands of these. And I’m at #1. Gotta start somewhere.
I hate to count these things….but I now have 5 ongoing projects….ughhhh I hate that!. It just happens. I made a quilt top for my nephew so he would stop stealing the quilt I made for his father, but it’s in line for the longarm.
I made a Southwest wall hanging…
One other finished project for a customer, an amazing quilt by Vi Columbe. I was intimidated for about 6 weeks before finally deciding how to quilt it. Not many round quilts out there to get inspiration from.
I hope she let’s me do more of her quilts. They are something to behold…
Thanks for looking~
Debbie

Debbie beautiful quilting! I like the plaid quilt very much. I haven’t done a plaid yet but it is on my to do list!
Thanks, Kathy. The minky on the back just makes it a perfect quilt.
